We provide continual encouragement and training to staff to achieve the best possible outcome for our children and young people. We support our children in small family style homes which offer stability, security and the chance to thrive and build lasting relationships. Our children participate in the day-to-day activities of any family home and are encouraged to engage in sport and other extra-curricular interests.

We use innovative ideas to help children achieve the agreed outcomes required to help bring structure, stability and positive focus to the child or young person’s life, whilst maintaining a supporting family feel to the home.

Elements Care has positive relationships with local education providers and we endeavour to re-introduce the child or young person back into the appropriate educational establishments.

We aim to provide an extended family feel in its approach. Within this supportive and nurturing environment, the child or young person can thrive and grow. Our Philosophy at Elements Care

At Elements Care, our philosophy is rooted in creating a home — not just a place to live. As a small, family-oriented organisation, we believe that every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and inspired in an environment built on genuine care and unwavering integrity.

Safety is our foundation. We work tirelessly to ensure that every child feels physically, emotionally, and psychologically secure. This means more than meeting standards — it’s about creating a space where children feel seen, heard, and protected at all times.

Being supportive is part of who we are. Our dedicated team builds nurturing relationships based on trust and empathy. We offer consistency, structure, and compassion — so that each young person can grow in confidence and build meaningful, lasting connections.

We are deeply committed to being inspired — and inspiring others. We believe in the potential of every child and every staff member. Through creativity, curiosity, and continuous learning, we create opportunities for growth, healing, and discovery. Our home becomes a place where children can reclaim their sense of self and imagine a brighter future.

At the heart of everything we do is integrity — doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. We lead with honesty, fairness, and respect, always keeping the needs of the child front and centre.
With children as our focus, we tailor care to the individual, celebrating strengths, supporting challenges, and championing every step forward.

Our small scale allows for personalised care and strong relationships — just like a family should.

Professionals feedback

Professional trainer

“Having delivered several courses to you and your team at Elements Care, I’d just like to offer some feedback as it’s been an absolute pleasure. The engagement and professionalism shown from all of you in the training has been nothing but positive, it’s truly heartwarming knowing that vulnerable young people are being supported by such caring and compassionate people, and I can clearly see that your ultimate focus collectively is to ensure the children are kept safe. Not only that, but the whole ethos about what you’re all working towards is focused on giving the children the best chances in life. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you and I’m sure you will have many success stories to share when we meet up next time.

Thank you again for being so welcoming.”

Social worker

“Elements and the care staff have been an integral part of one of our young people’s lives recently. With their vast range of knowledge and skillset, they are able to support and foster a nurturing environment for young people who need to be cared for the most. It is clear that this is not just a job role, and their caring and compassionate drive and positive influence has helped change the outlook for those who are in their care.”

Police

“Prior to the opening of the children’s home, the manager proactively reached out to the local neighbourhood policing team in Frizinghall. My colleague, PCSO Mathers, and I attended an initial meeting with the manager at the home.

The manager was extremely welcoming and gave us a full tour of the home. She shared her vision and aspirations for the home and the children it would support. Her passion, warmth, and commitment to the wellbeing of young people were truly outstanding.

Following the arrival of the first young person, the manager  invited us back to the home to meet them. We visited on a couple of occasions, offering a familiar and friendly police presence and acting as a point of contact to help build positive community links. The young person responded very well to our visits, and this interaction greatly supported their integration into the local area.

The home itself is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully set up to make the young people feel safe, settled, and supported”
